Where does the name Zero-Shot come from? The name refers to the model receiving zero examples of the specific task, yet still being able to solve it by generalizing from its underlying knowledge. Where traditional systems require thousands of examples to learn something new, AI models with zero-shot capability can tackle new challenges immediately. It is this flexibility and adaptability that we want to capture – to build solutions that are not locked into predetermined scenarios, but that can adapt to new needs and contexts.
